We're a team of inquisitive real estate, construction and facilities operations professionals that are constantly searching for new ways to improve workplace efficiency and make Google a great place to come to work.As a Head of Facilities, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of facilities services and operations for a complex portfolio.

Responsibilities Oversee a team and support their leadership development.
Act as a sounding board and mentor to help the Regional Facilities Managers effectively manage their teams.
Provide strategic leadership to the team related to the development of vendor partner relationships and setting a vision/approach that enables our partners to bring industry leading strategies to Google.Be accountable for the development of the portfolio-wide operating budget.
Inform the facility partner of the priorities to support their development and execution of the budget.
Partner with thought leaders across the REWS organization to develop proactive plans.
Work with Project Executives to ensure smooth handover process for new and refreshed spaces.
Foster relationships with the REWS Leadership team and ensure timely reporting and communication.
Maintain an understanding of adjacencies and the spaces within their portfolio to inform move plans.
Qualifications Minimum qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.10 years of combined facility management experience and service experience with an emphasis on facilities, hospitality, corporate services, property management or equivalent office management experience.Experience in working with other business units to meet company goals and standards.
Preferred qualifications:MBA or Master's degree.Industry related certifications (e.g., CFM).Experience developing and managing budgets, including capital budget justification.Experience in project and program management at scale and across complex businesses with high level of execution and quality.
Ability to think 'out of the box' and bring creative, nonstandard and innovative solutions that help to enhance organizational function and enable team productivity.
Track record of impacting strategic change and initiatives at scale and across businesses.
Exceptional financial management skills.
Excellent people management and leadership skills with ability to influence at all levels.
