SEN Tutor
TimePlan Education are recruiting for an SEN Tutor on behalf of a national, independent provider for education, residential care and a range of services for children and adults with additional learning needs. The SEN Tutor is a permanent post to start as soon as possible, depending on the successful candidates’ availability. The needs of service users are complex, including severe emotional and behavioural difficulties and challenging behaviour.
The SEN Tutor will be based in a small, specialist provision in Halifax where students can receive the teaching and support that they need in order to develop their true potential. The school and classroom facilities are equipped with modern furniture and resources which aim to enhance the students’ learning experiences. Class sizes are small and structured to facilitate the implementation of individual learning plans.
Role Summary:
* SEN Tutor, permanent contract
* Salary: £17,000-£20,000
* You do not need QTS for this role, but SEN experience is essential
* PTLLS, DTLLS, Cert Ed, Dip Ed are all desirable qualifications
