Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated CMM Programmer who is responsible for developing and writing CMM Programs. This includes first article programs as well as production inspection programs, support and technical guidance within the assigned operation. This job encompasses the identification of improvement opportunities by providing clear feedback to supervisor, production, engineering and CNC programmers the inspection results.

Essential Responsibilities:

Under general direction, performs the management of projects related to industrial pump manufacturing, component engineering and manufacturing for new and existing parts and assemblies.


Education & Experience Required:

3-5 years’ CMM programming experience in an industrial manufacturing environment

HSD/GED is required; 2 or 4-year degree is preferred however is not required

Pro-E experience is preferred


Position Requirements:


Reads and interprets blueprints, symbols and geometric tolerances based on military and commercial specifications.

Proficiency with Pro-E experience is also helpful however is not required.

Proficient in MS Project, MS word and MS Excel.

Strong math background including trigonometry and geometry.

Able to perform hands-on shop work.


Write and edit CMM Programs using PC-DMIS.

Min of 5 years in related role with solid experience.

Utilization of higher level Alignment Techniques.

Using Scanning Methods.

Advanced troubleshooting abilities.

Blueprints, specifications and routers and interpret GD&T.

Ability to program offline with PC-DMIS using CAD models.

Calibrate the coordinate measuring machines (CMM).

Working knowledge of ANSI, ASME and ISO.

Metrology knowledge is a plus.
