Description:

Position Summary: The Campground Host ensures campground users are knowledgeable of rules and regulations and assist with assignment and placement of RV’s, campers, and tents in the appropriate campsite.



 



 



Essential Functions:



Provide courteous service and general park information to park visitors



Custodial duties and/or grounds keeping duties of various facilities



Daily inspections of restrooms for cleanliness and needed supplies and/or maintenance problems.



Assist campers with checking in and checking out in a timely manner.



Monitor for appropriate use of the facilities by visitors (i.e. Proper food storage, pets aren’t left unattended or left off-leash, keeping quiet hours, too many people/vehicles in a site, etc.)



Report deficiencies, hazardous or unsafe conditions immediately to the appropriate department.



Maximize use of the campsites as to the appropriate sized vehicle for specific sites.



Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager



Qualifications:

Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal



Knowledge of campground operations preferred



Previous customer service and visitor information experience preferred



Requires occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling



Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 20 lbs.
