Physical Therapy Aide - Out Patient
Overview:
Mid-Columbia Medical Center is currently seeking qualified candidates for an Physical Therapy Aide position with our Physical Therapy Department. This position is Part-Time Core (24hrs/wk) and is eligible for a comprehensive benefits and time-off package or 13% in lieu of benefits.
Responsibilities:
This is a position is responsible for assisting the Physical Therapist in providing the highest quality of services possible, while providing the patient with a pleasant experience. The Physical Therapy Aide recognizes that the responsibilities of this job are patient-centered and, with that in mind, he/she will organize, supervise and render the highest quality of care to each patient.
Qualifications:
Education:High School Graduate or equivalent
Licensure/Certification:CPR Certification
Experience:One year of clinical experience preferred.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:Able to work with and Physical Therapist/Occupational Therapist and PTA/COTA, as well as demonstrate the capacity to work within a team approach to healthcare with maturity and flexibility.
Working knowledge of functions, policies, procedures and equipment of the Rehabilitation Services department.
Complies with state and federal regulations as they pertain to therapy aide services and supervision by licensed practitioner.
