Hospital Screener- PT

Responsibilities:

Part Time Position (Shifts are AM & PM) (7am-3:30pm & 3-11:30pm) MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK BOTH SHIFTS AS NEEDED!



 



Performs the screening of patients, visitors, staff and vendors prior to allowing access into the healthcare setting. Screener will be responsible for checking temperatures and completing a COVID-19 health screening form. Screener will work with various departments, such as Nursing, Reception and Assessment & Referral, to facilitate any access into the facility and will seek assistance when necessary. Adheres to facility standards concerning conduct, dress, attendance, punctuality, and meal & rest breaks.  Maintains confidentiality of facility employees and patient information. Adheres to facility and department policies and procedures and complies with the Corporate Compliance Program and the Standards of Conduct. Maintains proper boundaries when interacting with patients and their families, visitors, professional staff, vendors, and co-workers.  Offers and accepts constructive feedback in peer and supervisory relationships modifies behavior in response to feedback. Adaptability/Flexibility: Easily adjusts to changes in routine, assignments, and company/client needs. Demonstrates initiative by voluntarily recommending resourceful, alternative, or original ideas/procedures for work improvement or problem solution. Demonstrates effective time management skills by prioritizing tasks, anticipating needs, and making adjustments. Quality of work: Assignments are accurate, complete, and comply with objectives.

Qualifications:

High School education or equivalent experience / education. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills, strong customer service skills, ability to concentrate on tasks in high traffic area, maintain information as highly confidential, strong organization and priority setting skills.
