Paint Tech Lead

DESCRIPTION:This position will assume the role as Lead Person for the powder coat operation. The Lead Powder Coat Technician will direct production activities and assist with development of all departmental personnel assigned to this operation. This position will be responsible for the quality of the work and the efficiency of production performed in the area.Duties and ResponsibilitiesServes as a technical resource for powder coating operation.Coordinates the efficient movement of products to meet production requirements.Ensures quality standards are promoted and maintained throughout the department.Ensures all department actions are consistent with the QMS (Quality Management System).Maintains a high level of safety awareness and performance within the department.Operates equipment and machines accordingly to specific operational and safety instructions.Spray powder onto parts using the right technique to assure an even and consistent thickness.Verbally communicates any machinery and equipment functional problems and notifies supervisor of any quality or production issues detected.Maintains general housekeeping for work area.Pay: $25/hr but can pay more based on experience. Will also get $1.50/hr shift diffShift: 3:00pm-11:30pm Mon-Fri, some Saturdays. Need to be willing to work a lot of OTSKILLS:powder coat paintingTOP SKILLS DETAILS:powder coat paintingADDITIONAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:Prior experience performing Powder Coat Painting.
