Key responsibilities Management of a team of Customer Consultants, using effective people processes in order to give a world class Colleague experience: - Ensure Colleague headcount is in line with budget - Follow recruitment and onboarding process to recruit new Colleagues as required - Effectively schedule Colleagues for full coverage and rest allowance, ensuring positive work life balance - Proactively monitor and manage attendance of the team, carrying out Return to Work and Attendance Review meetings as required - Hold effective and motivational daily sales meetings to set team up for success - Performance management of team in order to achieve targets and demonstrate positive behaviours through 1-2-1 meetings, coaching sessions, performance improvement plans, observations etc - Train and develop the team through sessions and ongoing support - Complete Talent Assessments in order to identify talent for a succession plan Ensure the full Customer Journey is followed at all times in order to deliver a world class customer experience: - Ready for Customers - complete site walks to ensure the store is to a high standard - Customer Welcome - ensure there is gate coverage at all times - Information Exchange - provide support and guidance to Colleagues as required - Customer Vehicle Choice - select the right choice of cars based on the customers' individual needs - Part Exchange Valuation - accurately value part exchange vehicles in a transparent manner - Purchase Presentation - support Colleagues in closing the sale where required CarShop aims to be the employer of choice within the motor retail industry.
