We are assisting a client who are seeking to hire an "in-house" IT Support Technician.
You will be a key member of a small in-house IT Team supporting the users within a fast growing agile business.
As the Support Technician your duties will include: Troubleshoot desktop / Laptop hardware and software issues Escalating problems where necessary to management or third party suppliers Part of the "out of hours" remote support rota based team, for any IT systems issue's Diagnosing and resolving technical issues on your own and as part of a team Assist with troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure issues Provide support to users via telephone, email and remote control Keeping documentation up to-date Liaising with 3rd parties and suppliers Administration support via Active Directory Following processes and procedures Carrying out daily check on our client's IT infrastructure systems Performing basic administrative support duties, as required, to meet specific Creating and analysing helpdesk reports to help determine recurring issues for further investigation.
Managing the IT helpdesk requests.
Installing, configuring and managing PCs and associated peripherals and software.
Helping to ensure that IT resources to meet the future needs of the business.
In addition, there will be responsibilities for liaising with various 3rd party website hosting companies on technical issue's To be the successful Support Technician you will have the following skills and experience: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 2016 Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows server2008 above Knowledge and understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory Experience of working with HYPER V for troubleshooting/diagnosing Experience of working with Veeam backup solutions, including troubleshooting/diagnosing There are opportunities for progression for the right candidate.
As the IT Support Technician, you will be required to work 8 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday.
In return, the Support Technician will receive a salary of £17,000 - £18,500 per annum, plus holidays, pension.
