Excellent opportunity for a keen individual with a background machine shop environment in a machine operator role or similar to join an ambitious company that offer the opportunity to upskill training on the job, opportunities to increase earnings through overtime with early finishes each Friday.
This well-established company have been running over 70 years and specialise in the design and manufacture of hydraulic equipment within various industries and are constantly looking to expand into new sectors.
In this role you will be part of the engineering team within a machine shop environment, carrying out inspection of hydraulic equipment using various hand tools and measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometres, slip gauges, thread gauges, depth gauges etc.
The ideal candidate will have a background and understanding within a machine shop environment and be familiar with inspection techniques and be keen learn. Any skill gaps with inspection tools can be trained on the job.

*Carrying out first off and batch inspection of machined equipment
*Overseeing quality of materials and manufactured equipment
*Utilising and tools and measuring instruments to carry out inspection
*Early friday finish with lots of overtime
*Experience as a machine operator within a machine shop environment
*Experience in quality inspection (ideal)
*Knowledge in visual inspection
*Experience with hand measurement equipment including calipers, micrometres, slip gauges, thread gauges
*Have an understanding of technical drawings
*Have an understanding of manufacturing processes
