Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center has an opportunity for a Neurology physician who is highly experienced and a visionary to serve as Section Chief in an academic Neurology department located in Hartford, Connecticut.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proven Neurologist to maximize their experience and provide clinical and academic leadership to an established team that includes four full time Neurologists and three APRNs.
This role will allow for adequate time for managerial duties and strategic growth initiatives, while also conducting clinical care in a predominantly outpatient setting.
Minimal inpatient coverage will be required but a more robust inpatient clinical role can be discussed if the successful candidate has an interest in providing more inpatient care.
The successful candidate should be a Board Certified Neurologist with experience working within an academic setting, a strong administrative aptitude and a proven ability to lead.
