The Quality and Risk Management (QRM) Program provides an integrated approach for consistently delivering high quality results to our clients by providing comprehensive processes and tools for Quality Management and Risk Management.More about the Risk Manager – FSI (Enabling Senior Manager) Role:Deloitte Consulting LLP’s Quality and Risk Management group is seeking Risk Managers who will be responsible for supporting Deloitte Consulting’s Financial Services Industry (FSI) projects.

Ideal candidates must have extensive experience in managing the negotiation and administration of large managed services and subscription agreements in a Financial Services environment.

Work You’ll DoGeneral duties include:Guidance and support to senior business leaders within the firmServes as liaison between firm leadership and the Office of General Counsel Is responsible for advising practice leadership on potential quality and risk management issues within FSIProvides guidance on risk mitigation strategies, contract formation and contract managementFacilitates internal compliance with contract terms, risk management policies and procedures, and management directivesProposalsFacilitates engagement review process for higher risk engagements and participates in pricing decisionsConsults with firm Principals and Directors on Requests For Proposals, Teaming Agreements, and Non Disclosures AgreementsConducts Risk Consultations for selected higher risk engagements prior to proposal submissionHelps interpret contract requirements and obligations and provides guidance to engagement teamsContract NegotiationNegotiates professional services contracts with a primary focus on reducing and mitigating delivery and contractual risks associated with the services being providedProfessional services contracts include Master Services Agreements, Managed Services Agreements, Subscription License Agreements, Statements of Work Engagement Letters, Professional Services Agreements, Subcontractor Agreements, Teaming Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, and other similar or related agreementsContract ManagementHelps interpret requirements of the contractMonitor compliance with professional standards and contractual obligationsAnalyze and assess potential impacts associated with contract delivery risksAssist in client negotiations with clients to resolve contractual issuesProvides guidance to reduce project risks, adjust contract requirements to accommodate changing project circumstances, and manage stakeholder expectations to contractual obligations and agreed upon performance standardsQualifications:Experience Requirements: Minimum 10 years of direct contract negotiation and management experience Significant experience in negotiating managed services agreements and subscription agreementsSignificant experience in advising business teams on developing appropriate SLOs/SLAs and credits for FSIUnderstands the technology that makes up an end-to-end cloud platform and the services required to configure, deliver, support and manage that platform for clientsExperience in negotiating and managing vendor contracts (buy-side) for third-party software providersUnderstanding of the different types of sensitive data (PII, PHI, etc.), the associated risk profile of handling each type of data, and the appropriate risk mitigation strategies to be employedEducation: BBA/BA/BS in related field, Masters Degree is desirableLocation: FlexibleTravel Requirements: Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50%, flexibility required based on candidate location and roleOther Preferred Skills:Experience in Consulting field and a professional partnership desirableAbility to evaluate risks associated with large professional service engagements Experience supporting contracting for cloud managed services within one or more of the leading cloud services and/or infrastructure companiesExperience developing and delivering training to senior executives on FSI deal structures, contract development, and service delivery qualityExperience advising product development teams on risk mattersExperience structuring and negotiating license agreements for a software businessExperience in RFP analysis, including contract terms and conditionsExperience and ability to work directly with senior level individuals (internally and externally)Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to handle fast paced, multi-task environment Ability to work autonomously Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.How You’ll GrowAt Deloitte, our professional development plan focuses on helping people at every level of their career to identify and use their strengths to do their best work every day.
