The Payroll Administrator is responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of payroll and related client service, including recordkeeping and reporting.

This position provides accounting and project management support to FinanceJob Expectations:Prepares month end payroll journal entries, including payroll and PTO accrualsPerforms monthly reconciliation of numerous payroll related balance sheet accountsAssists with administration of profit sharing planAssists with ADP China payroll to process new hire and monthly payroll for Shanghai employeesAssist with ADP system upgrades and implementation of new ADP functionsPrepares payroll information needed for bi-weekly payroll processing and maintaining payroll records; audits payroll information for accuracyAssists with time and attendance systems; answers questions and makes corrections when necessaryResponsible for the posting of payroll data and preparation of routine reportsPrepares wage statements, EDD audit forms and Disability formsCompletes IRS levy documentation and garnishments of employees’ wagesRuns and distributes bi-weekly time sheets; assists with the distribution of paychecksCompletes and allocates non-refundable deductions for the organizationInputs new hire employee information into the payroll systemsCalculates retro pay, maintains direct deposits; processes Terminations, payments of vacation and sick requestsAudits/assures that the data in payroll related systems is accurate and completeResponsible for the assurance that all applicable payroll laws are complied with, and payroll taxes are paid on a timely basisAssists with other duties and projects as assigned based on needs of the Accounting departmentKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Detail orientated, work effectively in a team environment under tight deadlinesAbility to manage time, prioritize effectively, and monitor own work to ensure qualityAbility to use good and confident judgment while processing payrollAbility to interact with employees and managementADP experience requiredProficient use of a PC with knowledge of MS Office, including the proficient use of ExcelExperience Requirements:Requires a minimum (6) years of payroll or related experience.Education Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field preferred, or a combination of education and equivalent work experience.LI-SS1
