What can you bring to this Senior Rolling Stock Technician role? 1) Excellent fault-finding skills on a variety of electrical and mechanical Rolling Stock systems.

2) Outstanding communication skills as you will be working closely with the Engineering Team as well as mentoring the Junior Technicians.

3) A broad knowledge of Rolling Stock maintenance techniques acquired over a couple of years within the industry.

What will you be doing as their Senior Rolling Stock Technician? A typical shift in this important role will see you fault-find, maintain and repair electrical and mechanical systems on-board brand new and older fleets.

You’ll work closely with like-minded Technicians and Engineers to find workable solutions to complex issues and help develop the next generation of Junior Technicians by coaching and mentoring Service Teams.

You will be liaising with other Technical Support Engineers to better understand the breakdown trends and then relay the information back to the Engineering Teams to rectify.

This role will see you in constant communication with the customer and therefore requires you to have excellent communication because you will be acting as an ambassador for your company “Working here is great, I get all the feedback I could ever ask for.
