We are seeking an EH&S Associate to join our team at the Neville Island Plant in Pittsburgh, PA.
Leads EH&S at assigned regional facilities.
The incumbent is responsible to assure that day to day compliance activities are carried out by plant personnel, assists in the development of corporate and local EH&S programs and initiatives.
Performs audits, training, inspections and other duties as assigned by Global EH&S manager and local plant managers.
Assists with corporate EH&S programs and initiatives.
Assures compliance with all regulations and permits at assigned facilities Key Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to): Permit renewals, modifications and compliance Training Audits and Inspections Waste management.
Assures compliance with all hazardous and non hazardous waste regulations Landfill Operations and Maintenance.
Must be or become a certified landfill operator in KY Compiling and reporting EH&S statistics and metrics Uses specific expertise to assist corporate and other sites as needed Performs or works with outside vendors to perform sampling and stack testing as necessary to maintain permits and licenses Works with Federal, Sate and Local agencies on matters relating to compliance, modifications, or enforcement actions Oversees and participates in process safety management activities at assigned locations Qualifications A Bachelor's degree (B.A.
or B.S.) or equivalent from a four-year college or university; Environmental, Safety, Engineering or other technical discipline.
3-5 years of EH&S facility level management experience CAA, CWA, RCRA experience preferred Waste Management experience preferred Process Safety Management experience preferred OSHA General Industry Regulations experience preferred Hours of work: Mondays - Fridays, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 40 Hrs/Wk (Work hours vary based on plant needs.
