Job Designation The Production Forecasting Manager leads the Production Forecasting Team and participates in decision making that will have a significant impact on the product support.
Directs the team objectives, while aligning tasks with company policies and procedures.
Job Core Responsibilities Leads and directs the Production Forecasting team to obtain optimum productivity, while reaching department goals Optimizes production forecasting costs while maintaining budget goals Directs the team activities to meet company requirements Manages crisis resolution to ensure continuous flow of production scheduling , under designated budget Ensures general safety, compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and company requirements Utilizes resources effectively and drives improvements Leads and directs work for team of employees as defined by business needs Manages staff selection, performance, development and training processes to ensure team competencies and capabilities to reach the business goals and expectations Other responsibilities as assigned Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required.
May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessar li-ww1 Job Specifications Education: Post-Secondary degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectation Certifications: APICS Certified Years Experience: 7- 10 years of relevant experience Skills: Strong experience in forecasting, material requirements planning, or logistics management Working knowledge of Material Resource Planning/Material Resource Planning II and Basic CRD skills Strong quantitative and analytical skills Ability to identifies and resolves technical, operational and organizational problems Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Computer proficient, including Microsoft Windows software application This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
