AML, Financial Crime, Wealth Management, Private Bank, Enhanced Due Diligence, EDD Your new company A leading private bank with an established global presence and a recognised commitment to being one of the country's top employers is seeking to expand its Financial Crime Compliance team in London.

Your new role As the Financial Crime Compliance Associate, you will play a key role within the Financial Crime Team, assisting the MLRO and DMLRO with all Financial Crime advisory and monitoring activities.

Further responsibilities include: Assisting senior stakeholders in performing client on-boarding and Enhanced Due Diligence reviews for high risk accounts.

Implement the Financial Crime Compliance Monitoring Programme as required.

Deal with any business queries and further assist in the investigation and reporting of suspicions to relevant authorities.

Perform annual company-wide Financial Crime Risk Assessments.

What you'll need to succeed Circa 5 years' experience of financial crime compliance - this should not be limited to KYC or client on-boarding but include experience in the 2nd line of defence, specifically market abuse/insider dealing, SARs, sanctions, PEPs, policies and procedures and file reviews.

Furthermore, it is essential that the majority of your experience sits within the wealth management or private banking sector.
