The Role: They have an opportunity for a Business Manager who will be responsible for developing new opportunities in both food and non-food markets to deliver profitable sales growth.
The Candidate: This role demands a fast learner, with a strong work ethic and willingness to travel within Europe on a regular basis.
You will be responsible for winning new business for new products in new markets and food applications.
Target driven and comfortable working within a structured environment; you will have excellent organisation and time management skills and will proactively progress and close sales opportunities.
You will have a strong ability in asking the customer the right questions, listen to their needs and using the company' expert support team along with your own technical knowledge, you will understand and solve customers' process problems.
You will present their capabilities with a passion and professionalism, build strong relationships with their customers, and the ability to make things happen will be second to none.
This role will suit someone who is tenacious, has a positive attitude, enjoys talking to people in person and on the phone, and has a proven track record in winning new business.
Technical sales experience in food ingredients would be an advantage but a science or food technology degree is essential.
