SNAZA Teaching Agency are currently recruiting for a hardworking and experienced SEN teaching assistant to work in a two-form entry primary school based in the borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. The role as a SEN Teaching Assistant (ASD) is to start in September 2019 for a full academic year with the possibility of the role to become permanent for the right candidate. The daily rate for this long-term SEN teaching assistant role is £70.00 to £80.00 per day.
This two-form entry primary school is a vibrant, welcoming school in the borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. Among their facilities are a full computer suite, art room, music room, flexible hall for music, drama and parent activities, large hall for performances and PE. Your role as an SEN Teaching Assistant is to work in Year 3 with a student diagnosed with high functioning ASD. You will need to be an SEN teaching Assistant with proven track record of working in KS2 and passionate for delivering a differentiated curriculum. Your role is an SEN teaching assistant is to work closely with an exceptionally bright student who is working at the high end of Year 2 curriculum across all subjects. This student's difficulties relate to his social understanding and interactions, emotional regulation, anxiety and sensory processing.
To be shortlisted for the role as an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
*Have experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant in Year 3 or KS2
*You will need to be skilled at supporting students at at the higher end of the spectrum
*Knowledge and experience of working with students with moderate to severe learning difficulties
*Be adaptable and able to work independently or part of a team
*Be available to work 8:30 to 4:30 Monday to Friday
