Our client has been distributing IT hardware nationally to computer resellers for over 28 years. They have a friendly and professional trade sales team which they wish to expand.
As a member of the B2B office-based sales team your primary objective will be to build a profitable sales area by canvassing for new business and then developing these new accounts. Lead generation and cold calling will be the majority of the role initially, becoming more account management as you build your area.
Candidates should be articulate with an excellent telephone manner and possess good communication skills, written and oral, as well as a good team player and self-motivated, able to work on your own initiative.
This is a great opportunity for an imaginative and hard-working person who wishes to move into a role which fully utilises their sales skills. Note this is not a call centre.
Sales experience and knowledge of IT hardware are beneficial but by no means essential.
£18,000-£24,000 basic wage dependant on experience plus an excellent uncapped commission structure (OTE may be more than £30k depending on candidate’s success)

8.30am – 5.30pm
37.5 hour working week (one hour for lunch plus breaks mid-morning & afternoon)
