If you've answered 'Yes' to all three of those questions, then you should read on Our Client, a successful and well-established SME online retailer of lighting and electrical products for both the Consumer and Commercial markets, is seeking to recruit a highly skilled Head of Sales / Sales Director with the inspirational and motivational leadership skills, breadth of knowledge, customer focus and passion to bring a fresh modern energy to the sales process and ensure that the customer experience consistently reaches an exceptionally high standard.
You’ll already be a hands-on, proactive, very experienced and fully involved Business Development Manager/Head of Sales/Senior Sales Manager/Sales Director with proven experience of supplying design-led products into the Hospitality/Leisure/Retail sector and from an SME environment where there is a high commitment to customer care .
You will be able to demonstrate first class people management, leadership and development skills together with the commercial skills, energy, enthusiasm and creativity to be a key driver and innovator in respect of driving sales, profitability and service excellence.
The ability to influence and engage with colleagues and customers across all sectors of the business is essential.
This is a pro-active role and so you’ll have to be able to show proven success of building relationships with customers and colleagues across all communication channels with a unwavering commitment to the assured delivery of an exceptional customer experience hand-in-hand with driving sales growth .
You must be highly organised with an eye for detail and strong administrative skills, together with the ability to effectively manage, lead and inspire a busy internal team.
You’ll spend about one third of your time out of the office visiting customers or suppliers and travel will be both within the UK and international.
You should live within practical commuting distance of Milton Keynes , have a full driving licence, your own transport and be willing to travel, including staying away from home.
