CMA Recruitment Group is working on behalf of a well-respected financial services organisation in Southampton, Hampshire to recruit a Treasury Analyst on a 12 month fixed term contract.
This role is to support the treasury business readiness, ensuring all processes to be working in a robust and efficient way, within the new platform.
This will include devising, setting up and documenting treasury processes for both dual running and the fully migrated state.
Providing training and support to current BAU employees on the new platform and liaising with non-finance teams, to ensure a consistent approach across the business.
Key responsibilities will include: Liaising with both the treasury and non-treasury teams to ensure processes are designed and administered in an efficient and controlled manner with clearly defined and documented roles and responsibilities.
Supporting the system set up to enable cash balances to be forecast at key points in the day from which dealing decisions can be performed.
Implementing the required treasury related accounting.
Supporting the setup of any new bank accounts and any other treasury/banking activity to facilitate effective cash management.
Implementation of a transition plan for the dual running operating phase of the programme, ensuring appropriate controls exist and manual workarounds are clearly documented.
Provision of training and support to the BAU teams impacted by the programme, this will include review and sign off of training material documented by the team.
Support to the wider programme regarding the migration and implementation activity.
Our client is seeking candidates with a strong understanding of business and accounting processes, how to test these processes and how best to communicate them to colleagues within the team.
Previous experience of treasury processes would be beneficial but not crucial.
