Job Description Job : 981940 Technical Sales/ Account Manager (Personal Care, Cosmetics, Formulation, R&D) If you are passionate about Personal Care, Cosmetics Home Care, Consumer Goods and or Sensory Science, this full time, direct hire opportunity with a global company is the one for you This advancement opportunity calls for creativity in combining innovative ideas, cosmetics/ personal care expertise, deep market trend insights, knowledge of sustainability, and passion for sensorial solution; contributing to success in the Personal Care market Requirements Bachelor s (BS) degree in scientific discipline and experience in Personal Care, Cosmetics Home Care, Consumer Goods and or Sensory Science.

2-5 years experience R&D Formulating required .

Additional R&D, formulation, product development, color matching, market trends, and Sensory Science laboratory experience is a plus.

5 Years in a Personal Care role including customer-facing technical dialogue required 2-5 years expertise with personal care and home care industry, formulation, active ingredients, ingredient classes, surfactants, emulsifiers, emollients, rheology modifiers, active ingredients, preservative systems, and general sensory technologies .

Excellent oral and written presentation skills internally/externally Advanced understanding of Personal Care applications including leave-on and rinse-off formulation types.

Advanced understanding of ingredient classes, associated benefits and reasons for use, and general formulating know how for such ingredients Knowledgeable around common tests used to assess Active Ingredient efficacy.

Ability to interpret and simply communicate measurements from such tests to others (In-vitro, ex-vivo, in-vivo) Strong problem-solving abilities Ability to determine, recognize, and promote value-added benefits to our customers Self-drive and personal accountability to manage and complete overall job responsibilities Responsibilities Developing new products using extensive research and development (R&D) based on customer needs as well as market trends in Personal Care.

Focus on growing and complementing product portfolio with naturally derived solutions using renewable resources.

Apply knowledge of related business areas: Consume, Personal and Home Care Chemicals, Natural Resources, Plastics & Coatings.

Core responsibility of this role is to act as a REGIONAL TECHNICAL EXPERT on the portfolio and to directly contribute to opportunity generation via technical discussions with Cosmetics & Personal Care customers .

Includes regular travel throughout North America and visits to direct Personal Care and Home Care accounts and joint customer visits with distribution partners Provide general formulating advice and problem-solving solutions to the customer Question and analyze customer situations to determine specific needs and associated services/products that can assist in meeting needs/wants Maintain current knowledge and related formulating expertise of various ingredient classes used in the personal care and home care industry .

Demonstrate expertise with personal care and home care industry including but is not limited to surfactants, emulsifiers, emollients, rheology modifiers, active ingredients, preservative systems, and general sensory technologies.

Regularly assess technical portfolio gaps and communicate portfolio needs and areas of potential optimization to management Stay informed of competitive landscape and general market conditions and effectively communicate this information internally Host regular product training exercises for personnel Collaborate with marketing and assist with various marketing developments as needed Attend select personal care, cosmetics, and home care industry trade shows, conferences, and specialty customer events.
