Earned Value Management System Manager

Responsibilities:

Peraton is seeking a Earned Value Management System Manager to support or Space and Intel sector with our team in Chantilly Virginia. This role will work hand in hand with top engineeing teams leading innovation and advancing our customers mission capabiltiies. The will be responsible for the following:



Participate as a team member providing business financial support to Peraton program managers on Government projects in the system development arena, specifically with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).



Responsible for preparing and managing Work Breakdown Structures (WBSWBSnd associated budgets, providing inputs to project plans, tracking and reporting on program funds, collecting metrics, and supporting proposal efforts.



Managing completion of work within the time frame specified by the government, ensuring that all financial requirements are met.



Preparing milestone status reports and presentations for colleagues, subordinates, and end user representatives.



Supporting PM preparation and participates in Integrated Baseline Reviews.  Projects vary in size and duration.



Providing meticulous financial management, progress status, and project financial tracking.  



Developing, maintains, and reports on project financial information using Deltek MPMMPMbra and Microsoft Excel.



Qualifications:

Required Skills



You have bachelors' degree in Business Administration or a related field.  Alternatively, an Associate’s degree in a related field with 14 years of experience.



Experience with EVM and at least 12 years of financial management



You have deep understanding of DoD financial system and contracts, fundamentals of accounting, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook), and document preparation and file management skills to include generation of Contractor Performance Reports (CPRs) for monthly financial reporting.



You have experience in management of Excel spreadsheet templates and development of new templates using Macros, Visual Basic, etc.



You currently have experience with EVMS tools, at a minimum Deltek MPM or Cobra.



Candidate must have an active TS/SCI security clearance. 



Desired Skills



Had familiarity with Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI) requirements and processes.



Have experience with EVMS on Agile development projects.



Work with MS Project scheduling, Earned Value Management reporting, Work Plan development and Cost Analysis and Projections.



Have an understanding and development of Microsoft Excel Macros.

For Colorado Residents:

Colorado Salary Minimum: $84,600

Colorado Salary Maximum: $205,200
