Application Architect

As an APPLICATION ARCHITECT, you will use cutting edge cloud and data technologies to help global brands and federal agencies solve challenging problems through innovative technology solutions. Work on exciting projects, future-proof your skills, and grow into your dream job alongside some of the most talented, knowledgeable, and dedicated technologists in the industry.



WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING



* Key cross-functional team lead, working in Agile and scrum to discover, design, and drive the implementation of the application(s).

* Senior full-stack development focused on traditional development platforms (.Net).

* Primary task is to monitor the whole system, understand all interactions between components on a given level of abstraction, as well as to define limitations and requirements for source code.

* Provide discovery and technical requirements elicitation for the product backlog.

* Provide expert-level technical guidance pertaining to application architecture and usage of Azure services.

* Produce the application architecture designs to be submitted for architecture and operational reviews.

* Provide technical oversight to application developer(s).



LOCATION AND TRAVEL DETAILS



This is a remote position with occasional travel once COVID restrictions are lifted.



PROFILE OF SUCCESS



* Minimum of 5 years experience with .NET technologies (C#, , MVC, jQuery) to develop software solutions

* Proven development background with front-end web technologies, including JavaScript frameworks

* Database development experience to develop software solutions



DESIRABLE SKILLS



* Previous agile/Scrum experience

* Experience with cloud technologies (Azure, O365, AWS), SharePoint (2013+), .NET Core, and Dynamics

* Front end web development background with Angular and/or React

* Desire to obtain or utilize relevant technical certifications as part of continuous professional growth
