Clinical Nutritionist Diabetes, Norton Children's Medical Group Endocrinology
Responsibilities:
The Clinical Nutritionist Diabetes coordinates and administers a comprehensive diabetes education program for patients and their families. Functions as part of a multidisciplinary team utilizing age appropriate principles of growth and development for patients aged infant through geriatric. Collaborate with organizational departments/committees and partner with external programs to provide robust health and wellness options to participants. Facilitates/coordinates on site programs/classes on nutrition and relevant health and wellness topics as appropriate. Provides accessible programing options to participants. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required: Three years in specialty area
Bachelor Degree
One of: CDE or CDCES
Dietitian (State) (KY)
Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (National)
Desired: Master Degree
Licensed Diabetes Educator (State) (KY)
