Responsibilities:
Position Summary: The FSQA Technician plays a valuable role in our organization by ensuring our programs are executed properly by
providing support to our operations and this role is part of a cross-functional team that interacts daily with many departments including
operations, sales, and order assembly in working together to solve problems and improve processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Assists with coordination with other departments concerning food safety and food quality issues, enforces the FSQA policies and
procedures.
Drives Incident and complaint investigations/responses in assigned area
Monitor adherence to USDA/HACCP regulations for sanitation (SSOP and SPS) including pre-operational and operational sanitation
and personnel practices.
Perform audits and process inspections for sanitation, quality, food safety, and other manufacturing and FSQA processes.
Support change management requests and implementation as well as audits, investigations, and trace exercises
Train team members as backups or alternate shift coverage
Verification of effectiveness of preventative measures and corrective actions
Escalation of issues to FSQA supervisor when needed
Micro verification, product testing and sampling as needed
Complete projects as assigned and manage individual performance plans
Attend meetings and support tactical on the floor FSQA tasks
Qualifications:
Minimum three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Must have basic knowledge of computers including Microsoft
Outlook and Microsoft Excel
