Information Technology (IT) Project Support Specialist


This position is located on-site in Waterford, CT.


What you will be doing:

As an Information Technology (IT) Project Support Specialist, you will be assisting software development teams performing the following tasks:

Manage and update deployment of software to test labs

Burning CDs for software deliveries

Importing/exporting data and into a classified environment, including tracking and managing the data

Manage / adjust lab policy settings, and updating user accounts

Assist in the managing of software tools deployed to the developer labs

Salary ranges between $60,000-$70,000, dependent on experience, qualifications and other relevant business criteria.  


Required Qualifications:

Must be a U.S. citizen, eligible for a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance*

Associates Degree in Information Technology field, or 2 years Information Technology knowledge experience

Preferred candidates will also have the following qualifications:


Possessing an active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET security clearance*

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or another technical area

*Obtaining a U.S. Government security clearance involves a comprehensive background check.  Candidates are eligible for a clearance if they have demonstrated sound financial management (including good credit) over time, are free of criminal records, have limited foreign contacts or ties, and other factors indicative of a position of trust to protect information sensitive to the U.S. Government.
