Senior Catering Manager - Hilton Anatole

A SENIOR CATERING MANAGER AT THE HILTON ANATOLE would be responsible for developing market segments and soliciting new customers to purchase food and beverage and utilize event facilities in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. This is a rare opportunity TO SELL ONLY CATERING EVENTS at a legendary property. It's a seller's dream with over 600,000 square feet of fabulous event space.

REQUIREMENTS:



2+ YEARS OF CATERING SALES EXPERIENCE



LOOKING FOR A CANDIDATE WHO IS STRATEGIC IN SELLING IN A GROUP-CENTRIC HOTEL AND KNOWS HOW TO UTILIZE SPACE AND OPTIMIZE REVENUE. THIS IS SOMEONE WHO SEES THE "BIG PICTURE" AND CAN MAINTAIN ALL NON-PROFIT LEADS AND SOLICIT SOCIAL/WEDDING MARKET. WILL ALSO HANDLE SMALL CULTURAL WEDDINGS WITH OUTSIDE CATERING.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?



You would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:



* Represent the hotel through preparing proposals and other external sales presentations to groups and prospective customers to solicit, explain, negotiate, and close catering business.

* Meet with and entertain customers, conduct property tours, participate in tradeshows, industry, and community events to promote facilities and services and close deals.

* Utilize discretion and authority to negotiate contracts to maximize revenue and profitability with customers and vendors.

* Manage all aspects of the customer relationship including responding to customer inquiries, drafting proposals and contracts.

* Provide consultation to customers to ensure we create unforgettable experiences within budget.

* Prepare and present catering forecasts and reports as required by Director of Catering.

* Build Local Relationships with non-profit organizations, corporate and network to establish social accounts and cultivate repeat business
