As the organization continues to scale, we are looking to bring aboard a seasoned Exercise Physiologist who will work to improve overall client health. As a Performance Optimal Health (POH) Exercise Physiologist, you will provide health education, optimal health coaching, and exercise plans to improve key health indicators. You will implement fitness/wellness programs to ensure the growth of each program that has a lasting impact on our clients while monitoring and documenting client participation in sessions. You will promote the POH Model throughout the site to increase program participation through seminars, assisting in communication to clients and providers.

Key Areas of Ownership and Collaboration On:

Coordinates with physical therapy and wellness team to enable cross utilization between the POH Model in an effort to offer client maximum benefit

Program development for some aspect of personal training programs at POH towards reduce the number of injuries and recover faster from them

Renders personal training services to POH clients

Administers optimal health exam and renders health coaching services focusing on improving integration of the 4 pillars of optimal health.

Utilizes technology for remote health monitoring and data aggregation for POH clients

Provide benchmark physiological information to enable long-term athletic development

Responsible for service and operational excellence of all assigned activities to ensure the delivery of quality services and/or outcomes required to meet or exceed the expectations of POH clients

Exhibits courtesy, compassion and respect to clients, residents, families, care givers, visitors, physicians, administrators, and co-workers

Administer exercise stress tests in POH population

Participates in quality improvement activities

Prepares materials and assists with other duties as needed by the site


Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Physiology/Exercise Science

Minimum one year experience in direct client/patient care

CPR/First Aid/AED Certification

Clinical Exercise Physiologist (CEP) Certification or RCEP (Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist)

NSCA Certified Special Population Specialist (CSPS) a PLUS

Health Coaching Certification a PLUS

Demonstrate leadership within a team, communication, and work well with others

The ability to prioritize, balance conflicting demands and meet deadlines

Ability to motivate clients to meet their goals

Demonstrate strong communication skills

Demonstrate professionalism and strong customer service

Able to problem solve and use critical thinking skills within a dynamic setting
