Homecare Project Coordinator



 



The Homecare Project Coordinator will oversee, coordinate, and implement multiple projects throughout the Homecare service line. The Project Coordinator collaborates directly with various leaders to identify and evaluate project needs based on the organizational Strategic Plan.

Responsibilities:

 • Responsible for the management, coordination, and development of planning projects, as well as the review and evaluation of new and existing business systems.

• Creates, organizes, and oversees all training related to each project.

• Develops, designs, and maintains role-based curriculums using a variety of software programs, tools, and applications.

• Coordinates and facilitates training and education that is consistent with Homecare role-based skills/competencies.

• Assists with building, testing, and maintaining training environments. Provides system support and trouble shoots issues.

• Synthesizes information and creates reports to enhance performance improvement for the department.

• Responsible for the orientation and training of managers, supervisors and leads; creates and maintains training material; provides formal and informal educational programs, such as classes, in-services, continuing education, and other major education programs, to meet staff and organizational needs.

• Provides leadership, develops others, and builds on diversity and differences within the team. Maintains communication with onboarded staff and acts as a role model and mentor.



Qualifications:

Education:



Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.



Skills:



Effective communication skills. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain and relationships to ensure effective and compliant teams and work groups.



Knowledge of medical terminology, various claim forms, third-party contracts and payment patterns, CPT and ICD10 coding, and reimbursement regulations and payer policies.



Demonstrated flexibility with respect to required changes in training content and delivery methods.



Demonstrated high levels of initiative, decision-making and organizational skills.



Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) required.



Experience:



Two years of demonstrated skills and/or knowledge of prior authorization, health care billing and insurance reimbursement preferred.



Three years of demonstrated skills in teaching, educational program development, implementation and maintenance preferred.
