The entry level Product Development Engineer (PE) performs a variety of routine to complex duties in support of the manufacturing and development of integrated circuits.  These activities include manufacturing support, continuous improvement, product characterization, and participation in project teams within all aspects of integrated circuit product manufacturing. 


Product management through yield and manufacturability monitoring, production problem resolution, and product coordination

Coordination of product qualification activities

Define and review statistical process controls

Manufacturing process improvements and enhancement, cost reduction, and overall product ownership activities

Develop, review, and update necessary device, manufacturing, and procedural documentation

Provide product and other technical support to engineering and manufacturing personnel as appropriate

Debug and characterize device and hardware operation

Define and execute technical experiments and projects and summarize results

Define project objectives, metrics and milestones, monitor development status, report on progress and take corrective action as appropriate.

Ensure that all necessary quality assurance requirements are being followed for the product

Product Test, Validation, ESD, Latch-up, Burn-in, & Radiation Effects plan definition and development coordination as required

Identify and implement process improvements

Define project objectives, metrics and milestones, monitor project status, report on progress and take corrective action as appropriate

Must be self-motivated, process driven, able to work across functional boundaries in a team environment, and have excellent written and oral communication skills

Continuing process improvement projects



BSEE or BSCE from a four year college or university or equivalent experience

Minimum of 2 years' experience in an integrated circuits production environment 


Minimum of 5 years' applicable experience

Test engineering and other programming experience

Data analysis skills using statistical tools including Excel or other toolsPr such as Minitab, JMP preferred

Problem solver

Experience working with teams to successfully work through technical challenges

Strong written and verbal communication skills

ANSI C, C++, C# or Python software programming skills 

Experience working with electronic lab equipment

Experience with Six Sigma and/or Lean Manufacturing

Proficient in the full suite of Microsoft Office™ products - Excel, Word, Visio, Power Point, Project


Salary Range: $60,846 - $120,401 annually.
