Description The Opportunity The Senior Director, Corporate FP&A will be responsible for leading the financial planning and analysis processes, conducting analytics on the entire P&L, liaising with operations support functions, and providing broad decision support analytics to assist business leaders.
This role will be responsible for leading a team that develops and drives a proactive, collaborative partnership with functions across RF and within the finance team.
This is a highly visible role that includes frequent interaction with senior management and other key internal stakeholders and must be a trusted thought partner.
The successful candidate will have the ability to effectively interact and influence across the organizational.
Responsibilities: Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, including quantitative analysis around key business drivers Assess economic and specific business drivers and their corresponding impact on RF financials Deliver forecast analytics and insights that result in a corporate perspective of the forecast/budget Manage the budget and forecast calendar, coordinating with key stakeholders Actively seek opportunities to improve tools and processes Prepare succinct and clear executive presentations that simplify complex topics, often with time sensitive deliverables Play lead functional role in developing financial business updates for Board Meeting Support development of quarterly Lender presentations by providing financial analysis of RF results and updates on business initiatives Drive organizational accountability through performance management of operating expenses and productivity initiatives Partner with HR team to manage headcount approvals and budget impact Work with senior management on key projects that drive revenue and EBITDA growth and margin Play lead role in annual bonus design and monthly performance updates Oversee management of RF capital expenditures (to drive stronger returns including annual budget, approval process for projects, and monthly spend/forecast Drives an efficient, effective and comprehensive process for developing financial plans and analysis that links to the strategic objectives Creates effective performance metrics to drive accountability and ownership within the FP&A teams and business units Align on key performance indicators (KPIs) that can be regularly tracked to measure business results and health of the business Coach and lead team to build capability, drive intellectual curiosity, and recognize/reward performance and talent Engage with TPG (private equity partner) to support information needs Support RF efforts of IPO readiness over next 3 years Become an expert on RF s business and financial drivers Drive cross-functional alignment on finance processes and planning Lead and coordinate ad hoc requests Qualifications: MBA or relevant graduate degree from top-tier institution or similar academic experience Minimum 12-15 years of experience within the Finance function or with relevant experience in strategy/management consulting, investment banking, or corporate finance Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor as well as experience resolving complex business problems with well-structured analytics Ability to adapt to a dynamic, rapidly changing business environment Advanced level of Excel and PowerPoint required Business Leadership Strong executive presence and ability to clearly communicate compelling messages to senior executives and finance partners Demonstrated strategic thought leadership Experience presenting complex materials in a succinct manner to senior executives to drive effective decision making Strong project management skills and demonstrated ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives across a breadth of stakeholders 7 years experience in leading and managing a team Demonstrated ability to be a mentor and coach and have challenging employee conversations when necessary Team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible Excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and writing capabilities Demonstrated ability to articulate and drive a team towards a strategic vision Demonstrated ability to be decisive and action-oriented regarding decisions affecting the team Committed to developing a team, including key talent, and build a strong succession pipeline The Company Rodan Fields was founded in 2000 by Stanford-trained Dermatologists Dr.
