What will you contribute?

The Technical Consultant will implement new features, be involved in upgrades, deliver customizations described in functional specifications using the Phoenix Core Solutions and be involved in designing solutions for the customer needs, working closely with regional teams.

Responsibilities & Deliverables:

Your deliverables as a Technical Consultant will include, but are not limited to, the following:

Analyzes, codes, configures, tests and debugs application and conversion programs, scripts, modules and stored procedures, consistent with department standards.

Perform updates to programs, scripts, source code and process changes for conversion.

Ensure client satisfaction by responding to requests for assistance. Investigate, troubleshoot, or escalate issues as required. Accept responsibility for, coordinate, and track issues to a resolution/conclusion. 

Document client suggestions, provide work-around solutions, when possible, for identified problems in Finastra Core solutions; and ensure individuals who need to be informed are made aware of problems. Use tracking system(s) to report and monitor product maintenance and enhancements.

Readiness to learn and adapt to varied technical tasks pertaining to multiple Finastra Core solutions. 

Adhere to Finastra Client Services standards and processes while also ensuring assigned performance targets and service level objectives are met.  

Other duties and projects as assigned.


Working knowledge in MS SQL Server, C# .Net, ETL Tools preferably Alteryx

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work with clients, co-workers or third parties professionally and tactfully.

Effective technical and analytical skills. Ability to provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of varied scope and complexity.

Ability to work independently.

Ability to work with minimal supervision and show initiative and judgment.

Working knowledge of MS Office Applications & the Internet002E


3+ years IT industry experience preferably in Financial Domain.

Work experience in MS SQL &

Exposure to ETL tools and processes.

Exposure to Alteryx Designer or Alteryx Core Designer certification is a plus.

Familiarity with Git and/or other version control systems

Client interaction Experience will be an advantage.


Bachelor’s Degree in Software Development or related field.


Ability to receive, express or exchange detailed information through oral and written communication.

Position involves mostly sedentary work, exerting a negligible amount of effort to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.  Work involves sitting most of the time.

Ability to see and operate a computer.


Work is performed in a general office environment.
