Eluvio uses a wide range of machine learning and deep learning techniques within its Content Fabric.



This position offers an opportunity to lead the building of a novel ML and multi-mode search infrastructure for big impact, working in a small, excellent team innovating new ML, DL and data science solutions.



Responsibilities



Manage a growing team of five to fifteen ML engineers, researchers, and supporting software engineers.



Deliver a novel infrastructure for ML inference, learning, and search on the Content Fabric.



Deliver production-level ML models running on the Content Fabric.



Translate the company's vision into a structured set of technical goals for the team to reach.



Communicate with various clients to understand product requirements and delivery.



Make high-level system design decisions as to maximize impact while reducing complexity.



Make high-level R&D decisions to both improve current models and explore new opportunities.



Collaborate with product and engineering teams to implement solutions at scale.



Requirements



Master's Degree or PhD in Computer Science & Engineering/Statistics/Math/Physics.



Minimum of 7 years of working experience as a machine learning engineer.



Strong technical expertise in system design and software development.



Proficiency in both high-level language (e.g. Python) and system programming language (e.g. C/C++/Go/Rust).



Strong experience with machine/deep learning algorithms (e.g. CNNs, residual networks, transformer, GAN, clustering, sequence models, …) and frameworks/libraries (e.g. Tensorflow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Jax).



Experience in using NoSQL datastores (e.g. MongoDB, Cassandra, …).



Great communication and leadership skills, organized, able to multitask.



Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks.



Clear understanding of distributed systems and their bottlenecks.



Proven skills in designing and delivering both production-level software and ML models.



Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
