So, what is that work we speak of?



The Training & Development Specialist plays a critical role on our Learning & Development Team. In particular, you’ll lead the facilitation of training programs for our internal team, while serving as an SME for training the external teams at OSH. This role incorporates adult learning expertise, facilitation know-how, and strong communication skills to level up our organization’s knowledge, performance, and growth.



Some of what you can expect in this role...



You’ll be the lead facilitator. You’ll spearhead and coordinate training and skill-building workshops over a range of business areas: technical, operational, management, you name it.



You’ll be a documentation and organization master. Implementation guides, orientation, training plans, tracking progress, and managing training communications. Under your watch, all documentation is well-recorded, organized, and executed in a timely manner.



You’ll be an LMS expert. We use a Learning Management System (LMS) for all things training and performance management. You’ll work in this platform every day, organizing and managing it.



You’ll plug into teams readily. You’ll collaborate with the instructional design and development teams to craft strategic and impactful training materials through a variety of distribution channels.



You’ll be an integral SME. Other teams will look to you for guidance and assistance as it relates to adult learning and training facilitation at OSH. Your subject matter expertise and involvement is crucial.



Requirements



Required Education & Experience



A Bachelor’s degree (preferred)



Experience with Adobe Presenter, Photoshop, and Webex Training Center



A basic understanding of Microsoft Office



A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a facilitation role preferred



Experience with an LMS preferred



Experience in a healthcare organization preferred



A familiarity with operations, HR and compliance, and training facilitation preferred



Required Credentials

Critical Thinking: At times, you’ll have to think on your feet, problem-solve, and recommend the best courses of action.
