Description 

Learning and Development Coordinator

Overview:

CEC has an exciting opportunity for a Learning and Development Coordinator in our Pittsburgh (Moon Township) headquarters. This position will work independently on the support and administration of concurrent projects related to the learning and development initiatives that are key drivers of the company’s strategic plan.  This role will also support and participate in organization-wide training initiatives including design and delivery of administrative training materials, communications plans, and project management of learning and development programs. The L & D Coordinator will:



Manage the planning and coordination of all learning and development programs including invitations, agendas, pre-work assignments, attendance rosters, participant guides, name tags/tents, post-training social events, and scheduling with hotel venues and meeting space



Field all phone calls, emails, and requests for learning and development programs and answer questions to support the learner’s experience



Work with training facilitators to ensure they are equipped with supplies and any other equipment or tools needed to support the learning activities. Manage room set up and distribute materials on the day of training



Create and distribute learning satisfaction surveys for all programs, analyze results, and create reports for leadership



Coordinate and schedule travel for employees attending learning programs



Maintain informational resources related to learning programs, ensuring they are updated and disseminated to workforce accordingly



Manage the Learning Management System, including: incorporate training records into the system, drive company wide usage of the LMS, maintain and monitor learning in the system, provide administrative support to all users, and handle all support cases with vendor



Revise and edit training presentation PowerPoints and Word documents for senior leaders and enhance visuals using design skills



Create job aids and quick reference guides leveraging design skills for various learning needs across the enterprise



Qualifications:

1-3 years of related experience in training coordination, HR administration or event planning with experience coordinating company-wide programs



Bachelor’s Degree



Intermediate/Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe and Visio



Exceptional project management skills



Exceptional organization skills



Conscientiousness and high level of accountability



High attention to detail



Highly responsive



Willingness to learn and refine skills and abilities



20-30% travel as required



Flexibility to shift schedule to meet job requirements including early morning and late evening when business needs require it



Willingness to work overtime (compensated) as needed
