This is a FULL TIME ROLE that pays $25 per hour.

Coordinates all facets of scheduling for staff and coordinates scheduling resident appointments. Coordinates administrative and clerical functions and nursing supply inventory.


Duties and Responsibilities


Review daily staffing levels to ensure adequate staffing ratios as required by state and federal requirements

Manage scheduled and unscheduled absences ensuring required coverage in a fiscally responsible manner

Update master schedule to include new hires and terminations, reflect mandates and other changes as necessary

Update pay period schedule to ensure daily required staff levels are met

Update state and federal staffing reports and file/distribute as required

Round units at shift change to ensure required staffing levels are met on each unit

Review daily and bi-weekly time keeping records for accuracy; submit any necessary corrections to appropriate parties

Coordinate resident doctor appointments internal and external including podiatry, dental, vision and audiology visits

Provide administrative support to facility. Generate, distribute and maintain general correspondence, reports, and other written materials as assigned. Maintain, organize, and distribute nursing supplies at designated par levels; order and stock supplies (in supply rooms and nursing units) on a regular basis or as needed

Monitor supply expenses to assist with maintaining monthly nursing budget. Provide weekly expense report to Administrator


Job Qualifications


Education, Training, and Licensure/Certification


High School diploma or equivalent preferred




One year experience in health care staffing required
