Amplify.The Associate Learning and Performance team is responsible for some of the first interactions Associates have with Amazon, and the team continues to engage, support and develop Associates throughout the entirety of their Amazon lifecycle.
A Learning and Performance leader knows how to create and communicate a training philosophy and vision that will affect change through engaged leadership.
They collaborate with global operational teams to generate innovative solutions to challenging business problems.

This leader feels a great deal of ownership, strives to make themselves better, and can bring out the very best in the team.The Principal Operational Excellence leader will:· Lead global process improvement initiatives across Instructional Design, Training Delivery, Program Management and Learning technologies· Implement streamlined solutions in the Associate Onboarding and Continuous development space· Drive strategy and execution of process re-engineering and continuous improvement workflows· Assess, develop, implement and audit process improvement solutions, automate standard work and removes roadblocks· Drive a culture of innovation, simplification and continuous improvement through best practice sharing, advocacy and hands-on leadership· Build/prioritize roadmaps and drive the tactical execution of key Operational Excellence initiatives and resolutions across the Associate Learning and Performance teams· Lead high impact Lean Six Sigma projects· Manage projects and processes in an environment requiring strong multi-tasking abilities.· Work with a diverse group of stakeholders across the Selling Partner Support global network to understand processes and validate effectiveness of solutions· Define critical business needs and customer pain points, measure and analyze issues and develop scalable solutions that address content, system and process gaps· Build continuous improvement processes and closed-looped mechanismsBasic qualificationsBasic Qualifications· 10 years’ experience in Learning and Development· BA or BS degree· Lean Six Sigma Black or Green Belt certification· Project management experience· Proficient in obtaining, organizing and analyzing data to make fact-based decisions and drive root cause analysis· Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint and Excel· Strategic thinker and a change agent· Demonstrated ability to partner with senior leadership, understand business goals, analyze opportunities and develop improvement project plans for various workflows· Self-starter with a high degree of ownership and strong business acumen· Demonstrated collaborative, problem-solving skills evidenced by results in past positions.· Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal communication abilities including skills in explaining technical topics to novices and collaborating with subject matter experts, global stakeholders, and managers· Ability to travel domestically and internationally as neededPreferred qualification · Master’s Degree in Adult Learning, Engineering, Statistics or Business Administration
