Data Junkie: You live and breathe data and heavily rely on it You will own the data management processes and updates for key financial processes, such as Asset Management tables and Meta Data tables in PeopleSoft Communication : You know how to earn trust and communicate in a clear, concise, and relevant fashion.

In this role you will serve as a business liaison between the IT Department and Accounting/Finance/Tax team members and Aimco management.

Job Requirements: Reporting to the Vice President and Controller evaluates business needs, analyzes processes and creates business cases for changes and process improvements Understands and support the Oracle PeopleSoft 9.1 Financials, PeopleSoft Asset Management (PSAM) and Planning and Budgeting Cloud (PBCS) Planning Identify and advocate for opportunities to improve current procedures, processes and systems Identify and resolve Application Level 1 and 2 issues with assistance from the IT Department where applicable Create reports with PeopleSoft tools such as PSQuery for financial and cost data analysis Perform systems integration testing, and coordination of user acceptance testing for minor enhancements and large projects General business support and response to procedural questions Represent Accounting/Finance areas with community acquisitions/divestitures and other entity changes directed by management Support accounting processes for financial close, allocations, and batch processing in compliance with appropriate controls (internal controls and SOX compliance) The Work Environment: The Senior Financial Applications and Data Analyst will sit with a team in Aimco-s corporate headquarters, located in the DTC, near Belleview and I-25.

Required Qualifications: 5-7 years of PeopleSoft 9.1, Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Services, and Hyperion Decision Support financial systems/accounting experience Requires proficiency in understanding financial statements, financial terms, concepts, accounting principles and internal controls.

Possess problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task with readiness to put in extra efforts when necessary.

Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to support financial system software with an emphasis on user logic, configurations, testing or equivalent skills from an overall experience - crossing multiple modules and understanding the overall impacts.

Possess strong quantitative, analytical and conceptual and critical thinking skills.

Detail-oriented and accuracy-focused Ability to independently troubleshoot issues or recommend solutions Strong skills using SQL to review data and assist in problem-solving Nice to have: Experience in Real Estate, a plus Experience with Microsoft Office 365.

Certifications in relevant technologies.
