Description 

We have an urgent hiring need for an experienced DevOps Engineer with 2-4 years in infrastructure management.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative firm doing groundbreaking work in BigData.

Location: Chamblee, GA Technical Experience Required: AWS Services 1 years - at least 2-3 services with deep understanding DevOps 1-2 years Scripting - Bash, Python 2 years Responsibilities You will work closely with your fellow engineers to develop and maintain large scale systems that process and act on massive amounts of data both in real time and offline.

Specific responsibilities include: Automate software deployment and configuration management Setting up and configuring AWS services following best practices Work closely with development teams to ensure that solutions are designed to support end user experience, scale and ease of operation Integrating AWS asset provisioning with code release and continuous deployment processes Deploy and take ownership of production environments Automated software deployment and configuration management Qualifications 2 years experience of practical experience in a DevOps role Practical Linux systems administration skills in a cloud or virtualized environment Collaborative and personable engineer who likes working with a team Preferred Qualifications Experience with Chef, Puppet, Salt, or Ansible in production environments Prior success in automating a real-world production environment Experience in AWS services like EC2, Load Balancers, auto scaling groups, lambda, VPC, Security groups, RDS, CloudWatch, Cloud formation, Route53, Redshift Experience with scripting languages such as Powershell, Python, Bash, Ruby, and Perl Knowledge of IP networking, VPN's, DNS, load balancing and firewalling Familiarity with monitoring tools like Nagios, Incinga, SiteScope, etc - provided by Dice
