Interior Designer
Responsibilities:
Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized, award-winning professional services consulting firm, is experiencing unprecedented growth, and we have an exciting opportunity for a full-time interior designer to join our team. Responsibilities include preparing, coordinating and completing construction document packages; researching and evaluating furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E), materials and finishes; developing programs and visioning sessions for clients; mentoring less experienced interior design staff; and working closely with clients and contractor/developer design/build partners. Travel will be required.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate must have a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in interior design or architecture from an accredited school or college AND at least four years of relevant interior design experience.
The ideal candidate will have any/all of the following:
Experience with design for commercial office space projects
Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) experience
Revit and AutoCAD experience
Experience selecting furniture, fixtures and equipment, materials and specifications
Past experience working in an AE firm (aviation specific experience is a plus)
Interior design license or certification, or the ability to obtain within 12 months
