TRAINING-L&D MANAGER-Austin TX
(position is on-site/candidates must be commutable to Austin, TX)
(Possible hybrid hours after Go-Live)
Developing and implementing learning strategies and programs. Designing & delivering e-learning courses, career plans, workshops and more. Maintaining budgets and relationships with vendors and consultants.
Identify training and developmental needs and drive suitable training initiatives that build loyalty to the firm.
Work across departments to get employees up to speed in both their specific vertical, and the overall needs of the company.
Enhance employees’ skills, performance, productivity, and quality of work
Responsibilities
Identify and assess future and current training needs through job analysis, career paths, annual performance appraisals and consultation with line managers
Draw an overall or individualized training and development plan that addresses needs and expectations
Deploy a wide variety of training methods (Machine learning, Classroom, e-learning courses٫ workshops, etc.)
Conduct effective induction and orientation sessions
Monitor training program’s effectiveness, success and ROI and report on them
Manage training budget and training staff
Resolve any specific problems and tailor training programs as necessary
Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments, and best practices
Requirements and skills
Bachelor’s Degree required Business٫ Psychology, or related; CPLP Certification is a+
Min 3 years work experience as a L&D Manager٫ Training Manager, or other relevant
Significant experience with effective learning and development methods
Experience in project management and budgeting
Good knowledge of e-learning platforms and practices
Track record in designing and executing successful training programs
Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations etc.)
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Good computer and database skills
