REMOTE – Sales Compensation Consultant



 



Location; Pleasanton, CA or Remote, US



 



QUALIFICATIONS



Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, Finance, Operations or related field from recognized institution(s) of excellence.



3+ years related experience in commissions, financial analysis, and operational reporting, preferably including heavy analytical work with complex incentive plans.



Solid analysis skills, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.



Comfort and familiarity with Incentive Compensation Systems (Callidus, Xactly, etc.).



Organized and methodical with the highest standards of accuracy and integrity.



Ability to deal with emotional charged compensation issues and challenges at all organizational levels.



Patient, good listener, and strong business partnering skills.



Exceptional problem-solving skills with extreme attention to detail.



Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and comfort creating analysis and information for management.



Strong business sense with an eye to detail particularly related to sales compensation commission / incentive compensation impacts.



Understanding of business needs and the willingness and ability to be available after hours as needed during busy commission cycles and to meet tight payroll deadlines.



Flexible and openness to new ideas and changes to comp plans and having the insights to recognize challenges and/or opportunities in order to address them ahead of time.



Willingness to accept new challenges, being curious about how things work, and finding solutions to potential issues.



Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and quickly changing environment, multi-task and manage competing priorities with multiple deadlines, and a willingness to roll-up sleeves to get the job done.



Must demonstrate high energy, initiative, and creativity.



Confidence to challenge the status-quo and propose thoughtful alternatives.
