More : | Facebook | LinkedIn | Twitter | YouTube POSITION OVERVIEW Americas Contract and Deal Desk Manager As we continue to evolve our business, National Instruments is seeking a Contracts and Deal Desk (CaDD) Manager for the AMERICAS.

The candidate will have the primary responsibility for managing the CaDD resources in the Americas, as well as overseeing/accountable for complex technology contract negotiations at National Instruments.

In particular, we are looking for someone with experience negotiating contracts with Fortune 100 accounts, as well as Deal Desk experience leading pricing and product mix discussions with high level sales leaders.

The candidate will manage a team that works with the AMERICAS to help drive profitable growth at a reasonable risk profile, based on our business processes.

The CaDD team will be responsible for deal structuring and complex deal controls, pricing and discount controls, and negotiating and structuring our sales contracts.

The team will consist of the Contract Managers and Deal Desk Analysts.

The AMERICAS CaDD Manager will be a combined people leadership and functional accountability role, managing the individuals on the team and supervising the operation of the team as described below.

Key Responsibilities Manages CaDD operations in AMERICAS which includes: Supervising the operational efficiency of Deal Desk Analysts and Contract Managers.Managing the relationships with leadership, stakeholders, and internal customers.Functioning as a Deal Desk Analyst on larger, more complex deals.Functioning as a Contract Manager on larger contractsProvide leadership and consultation on larger, more complex contract negotiations.Coordinating with CaDD’s in other regions on cross region and worldwide deals and contracts.Ensuring cooperation and partnership with the legal and finance groups.Maintaining and enforcing sales policy and a commercial terms matrix that is aligned globally yet customized for AMERICAS Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree5 years of experience managing peopleExperience supporting a sales organization including the use of CRM tools and processesExperience drafting global agreements that span across business units and geographies Preferred Qualifications: Experience drafting, negotiating, and executing contracts with Fortune 100 accounts, experience with Mil/Aero and government accounts is a plusDegree concentration in Engineering or Business preferredLaw Degree, Contract Management certification, or extensive contract management experienceExperience in a contract or deal desk organization preferred Preferred Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations and Defense Acquisition RegulationsGeneral Business Acumen and Financial PrinciplesSales and Contract Operations Business FundamentalsStrong negotiation, drafting, analytical and problem-solving skillsExceptional attention to detail, initiative, and ability to use independent judgementTime management and the ability to manage multiple projects and clientsExcellent business judgement and ability to think strategically Primary Location: US-TX-AustinWork Locations: US - TX, Austin (HQ) 11500 North Mopac Expressway Austin 78759Job: Contracts AdministrationBusiness Unit: OperationsEmployee Status: RegularJob Type: StandardJob Posting: Aug 13, 2019, 5:03:14 PM
