JOB PURPOSE To provide the correct amount of material to ensure Tramlink meets its tram availability target through:- Working within the Materials Team to accurately receive, store and distribute material to the point of use within the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA).
Monitor, measure, analyse and communicate all relevant and agreed Key Process Indicators (KPI's).
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: 1) Ensure all material received is accurately recorded on the MRP system within the agreed SLA and physically stored in the correct location.
2) Attend quickly and accurately to requests for materials, tools and equipment from the maintenance / production staff or from generated pick / kit / bill of material lists and obtain and record parts and fitment information as required.
3) Line side stored material to be stock checked on a daily basis and topped up within the agreed SLA.
4) Issue, record and care for equipment and tools under the control of Tramlink.
Ensure all issued equipment and tools are recorded, reporting any missing and damaged items to the Materials Manager as soon as possible.
5) Allocated stores housekeeping area to be kept clean, tidy and hazard free for work to be carried out safely, reporting any safety issues to the Materials Manager as soon as possible 6) Ensure the scheduled cycle counting of material is carried out weekly with the results passed to the Materials Manager for recording and investigation.
