World leader in forging and machining are seeking a CNC Miller to join the dynamic team in an exciting opportunity to be part of a global company which remains a family run business at heart.
DAY TO DAY DUTIES WILL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
. Reading and interpreting from engineering drawings
. Working within a high precision environment to tight tolerances
. Machine Tool selection
. Handling large components up to 2 metres in height
. Overhead crane use
. Choosing correct speeds and feeds
. Setting conventional lathes for large components
. Setting steadies and so on
. Working with minimum supervision
FOLLOWING QUALITIES AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
. Three to five years' experience working within a tool room environment - ESSENTIAL
. To read and interpret from engineering drawings and be very experienced in tool selection - ESSENTIAL
. Experience on conventional lathes - ESSENTIAL
