Mechanical Fitter required for a heavy engineering company in the Buxton area. This is a great opportunity for a mechanically biased engineer to join a growing company who can offer fantastic training and overtime opportunities.
To apply for this role you will be a mechanically biased candidate from ANY background however candidates from a heavy manufacturing industry will hold a considerable advantage. You will ideally be apprentice trained and candidates with fabrication experience will hold an advantage but this is NOT essential as training can be provided. Ex-forces candidates are encouraged to apply.
The role is 100% mechanical and you will work on equipment such as crushers, screeners, grinders and conveyors. You will predominantly carry out preventative maintenance, working closely with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, however approximately 15% of your time will be spent carrying out reactive maintenance and installation work on exciting projects.
This is a great opportunity for a mechanically biased candidate to join an expanding business who can offer the successful candidate the opportunity to work on a variation of equipment, further training and regular overtime.

* Working on crushers, screeners, grinders and conveyors
* 85% Preventative Maintenance, 15% Reactive Maintenance
