PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITIONWith the planned growth, new businesses, product launches and transformation programs at T.

Rowe Price (TRP), this role will require the incumbent to collaborate across numerous business areas to design and execute well-controlled efficient processes for the Derivatives Middle Office organization.

The incumbent will be responsible for strategy, planning and execution of numerous operational and technical transformation initiatives, designed to move organization forward in global capabilities in line with strategic growth at TRP.

The role will require influencing and negotiation with Service Providers as well as internal and external technology providers to find the most automated and well controlled solutions to support the initial launch and ongoing operational support of new and expanded investment products.This position will require the incumbent to lead and influence key stakeholders at all levels of the firm as it relates to gaining buy-in for strategic initiatives and managing change.

This will require strong people leadership and communication skills to solicit ideas, lead through challenges, negotiate on key considerations, set priorities and make decisions.

A successful candidate will be experienced in leading change, developing his or her associates and creating high performing client focused teams.PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIESManage Target State Transformation Program: Strategizes, plans, and leads transformative programs to expand investment operations capabilities and ensure alignment with the firm’s strategic initiatives.

Translates firm and division strategy into actionable goals and objectives for the functional area.Operational Support for New Products: Partners with and influences business leaders across investments division to develop solid operational support strategies and proactively ensure business processes are capable of supporting new products and anticipated growth.

This requires a high level of collaboration, the ability to build strong relationships, and a commitment to service excellence.

Transform Operational Processes and Practices: Partner with Derivatives Middle Office leadership to analyze manual operational processes and define and implement effective solutions to simplify, automate and de-risk the operating environmentManage High Performing Team: Responsible for managing a team, providing oversight and ensuring productivity of team.

Provides performance and career management and strategic direction, as well as ensures that the day to day activities of the team are coordinated and leveraged to meet the team’s commitments for the year.
