My Thame based client (not Moreton), a leader in product manufacturing across multiple markets including retail and hospitality, is looking for a Technical Support Technician.
The role will provide technical expertise and support to all areas of the business; pre and post sales and involvement in new product evaluation and testing.
The Technical Support Technician will provide assistance in the development and growth of business, as well as to promote customer integration of all products.
The Technical Support Technician duties will include: Providing technical support to all relevant stakeholders; Maintaining strong product knowledge; Researching new products and technologies; Providing assistance with development work with particular emphasis on testing, feasibility and evaluation studies and understand and applying the appropriate processes.
The ideal candidate for the Technical Support Technician will have: Good all round technical awareness; Preferably a degree in ICT or business related but a minimum A level standard; Good understanding of hardware and software; Preferably working to ISO 9001:2000 standards; At least 3 years’ customer support experience; Ability to communicate confidently at all levels; Broad knowledge of retail related products; Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise workload; Team player.
Working hours: Monday to Thursday 9am to 5.30pm and Friday 9-4.30pm.
25 days holiday rising to 28 days.
